Drombeg Stone Circle
Drombeg Stone Circle, also known as the 'Druid's Altar', is a recumbent stone circle located near Glandore, about 15km from Clonakilty. Dating to around 1100 BC, this Bronze Age monument consists of 17 standing stones arranged in a circle approximately 9 meters in diameter. The site also features a fulacht fiadh (ancient cooking pit) and two hut sites.
